WATER MUSEUM, Ecocentre and Wheel

In a privileged framework in the Banks of River Duero we can find this facilities related to the environment located all along San Prudencio Promenade.

The exhibition now hosted on the Water Museum, building net to the Soto Playa washery, recovers the machinery that let the water movement and by means of panels and videos presents us the different uses this liquid element had along the history of the city. The current Ecocentre, is a small two-floor building that shows on a video and a group of panels de the different environmental aspects of the river, fauna, flora and ecosystems. Closeby there is the recovered wheel  that used to belong to the  coalman. Now, it is the visitor the one to push the horizontal lever feeling the ancestral process of animal traction.
